At the AGM the trophies were presented to the winning teams for the previous season (2015-16).
Nick Stead accepted the Division 1 trophy on behalf of Grimsby chess club. Grimsby are by far the strongest team in Division 1 and there was little doubt that they would win for the 3rd season in a row.
Peter Sherlock accepted the Division 2 North trophy on behalf of Lincoln chess club. Lincoln have a good core group of players with a grade under 150 and this helped them towards winning the division.
James Irwin accepted the Division 2 South trophy on behalf of Lincoln chess club. This division was a close contest between Lincoln and Grantham. Lincoln had to win their final match of the season to ensure they won the division which they were able to do.
