Adam Robinson from the Louth Chess Club has organised a weekly team battle on lichess.org between all his former and current clubs including Louth. He would like to invite Lincolnshire clubs to take part. The tournament takes place every Tuesday at 7pm. The time control is 3+2 blitz chess. Full Details
With the country now in full lock down due to the coronavirus pandemic, the advice from the management team is to postpone the league indefinitely. A further advice document is available.
The Lincolnshire Chess Association Management team have reached the decision to postpone league matches for 3 weeks until 5th April. At that time the management team will review the situation and make a decision on whether a further postponement is necessary. This is because of the increasing spread of the Coronavirus around the UK and the risk it poses to chess players. The Management team have produced an advice document for you to read.

This season we are using the ECF's League Management System. It will initially be used in conjunction with recording the results on the website. There will be a number of benefits with using the LMS:
The intention is to trial the LMS this season with the aim of introducing it fully next season. During the trial period captains will not be able to submit match results direcly to the LMS. Match results should be emailed to the league secretary in the normal way.
The LCA team have provided some guidance on what to do if a league game cannot be finished. The most likely reason for this is that the venue must be vacated before the end of the game. Read Guidance
